Mid 2007 24" iMac... it died with a white screen middle of June because of rain.

Restarted it, no screen, just the 3 beeps indicating no good banks.

Ran fan forced 1,500 Watt heater pointed in that direction for 3 weeks, same 3 beeps.

Tried starting it 2 more times join August, same 3 beeps.

Tried once around midd;e of September... 3 beeps.

Middle of October I was about to post a query on how to gwt a Disc out of it, decided I( try the mouse button on power-on to see if it possibly could eject it before P{ost, In didn't think it would... no Disc popping out but the screen lights up, holding breath, jaw drops, apple shows up with progress bar... it's been running 24/7 since last Wednesday! :D

Thanks Avon... the 2007 24" is plesure to use compared to the 2011 27"... weren't sclable system fonts rumored back about 10.4.4 ???

I am feeling better, I think because 50°F air holds more oxygen than 90°F air.

Mysterious hardware non-failures are always welcomed. No matter how WTF-head-scratch-inducing they are, always welcomed when stuff deemed hopeless comes back to life.
