TTY is so ancient of tech that all I've found so far is... make sure your Mac has Voice Modem, & presumedly a landline for dialing!

Why Voice would be required on the deaf end is a mystery.

Seems even an android phone could do it, except that for me, typing 1 or 2 correct letters in a row is unlikely.

Seems a computer could easily do this, just typing to a 771 operator.

Any advise, clues, hints?

TTY is just a modem connected to a printer and keyboard. I spent many an hour on playing oregon trail on a teletype. Do you mean TDD? To my knowledge TDD is just a terminal connected to a modem. So you'd just need TDD terminal software and a modem.

There is a setting on Android to adjust the size of everything on screen. Unfortunately I have a Samsung so mine's going to be in a slightly different place than yours, but mine's in Settings, Display, Font, then I can just drag the slider to the right to zoom things up. There's similarly a setting for keyboard in settings, mine's under Language and input, Keyboard and input preferences, (keyboard name here), Layout, Keyboard height.

It's service for the hearing impaired or deaf you have an operator call/interpret for you, you dial 771 & the operator cll the number you want & they tarnslate back & forth... seems silly in this day & ge that they don't have text chat or emil.

I think to use my phone I'd need a Bluetooth Keyboard to type, onboard one is unusable for me.

You could pair a keyboard with it. This looks identical to my now-discontinued AmazonBasics keyboard that I've paired with everything (Mac, iPad, iPod Touch, PC, Android):

I can't use the damn on-screen keyboard unless I flip it sideways and increase the size. Its not so much seeing it as it is hitting the right key.

I think we're talking about the same thing, I see now its called TTY in some places, but TTY is basically just another way of describing a terminal.

Thanks, on screen KB doesn't work for me even in Landscape mode, not only wrong keys, buy characters I've never seen showing up.

Thanks for the link, I just hate to buy a KB just to use with the tiny screen once or twice month only to find out the byres need changing.
