Just what the subject says - how do you update Safari extensions manually?

Just beginning to use Safari a little bit.
Just updated uBlock Origin on Firefox by way of Tools - Add-ons manager.

Went looking for something similar in Safari and couldn't find it.
All I can see is the box on the extensions pref panel which lets me check off automatically update extensions through Safari extensions - or something like that (I'm on Firefox, my default, now).

This page tells me Safari will automatically update extensions installed from Safari Extension Gallery - which this was - but I haven't checked off that box.

On Firefox uBlock Origin is v1.16.10 - on Safari it is still v1.16.0 - which it was when I installed it a few weeks ago and which it was on Ff until a few moments ago when I manually updated it.

btw - any thoughts on this question about a script blocker for Safari.
I installed JS Blocker because that was all I could find. Don't know where else to look:

Maybe I've found my own answer, but I'm not sure.

Looking up release notes on uBlock origin for Safari I found this:
https://github.com/el1t/uBlock-Safari/releases
this shows 1.16.0 as the latest for Safari - but it looks as if it's talking about uBlock, not uBlock origin - yet the top of the page said uBlock Origin. :confused: :confused:

Scrolling to the bottom here;
https://github.com/el1t/uBlock-Safari/w ... ic-updates

I see an image showing the update button to click but I'm not getting this - so the update isn't available for Safari, I guess.

µBlock Origin has its own extension in the extensions gallery now for those that aren't aware.
