A kind friend on mac4mac gave me a zip file of an app to see if I can recover photos lost on a CF Card. I'll ask more about this later. Now, the problem is when I look on the Data Rescue site for how to use the thing, the directions say drag icon into application folder.

When I tried to do that, I got this

Is this the way to proceed - click open anyway?
I found this in syst prefs under security.

And, yes, I absolutely trust the kind soul who forwarded this zip file to me.
