Ahhh… I was mistaken. Funny, I haven’t noticed the sewer smell yet. I’m over by the university, just kinda smells like college.

Start with your car windows closed and your fans set to circulate internally only, or off it they don't have such a setting (my minivan doesn't). Head on over to the area near the 237 and 880 interchange. Trust me, you'll smell it and you'll then be wondering whether or not you'd rather smell the cows on a ranch than the nice fresh Santa Clara air.

Aha, I thought you were literally referring to Santa Clara itself. I drive 880 every morning/evening to/from work, and I know exactly the smell you are referring to. It’s pretty bad. :badteeth:

Oh I could be referring to Santa Clara itself. Whoever the bloody fools are that green lighted Levi stadium on Great America Parkway @ Tasman, two of the busiest thoroughfares in all of Santa Clara/Sunnyvale must have been dropped their heads several times as infants.

On the bright side, at least SC doesn't have nothing but one way streets like San Jose does. >.<

Update: I believe I have figured out how I managed to bend the pins on the motherboard originally mentioned in the beginning of this thread. Using an aftermarket cooler which is sort of a bitch to install, such that excessive rocking back and forth is most likely the culprit. Would the rocking back and forth during installation be enough to bend the pins? Once installed, it’s an effective low-noise high-airflow cooler, but very kludgy in installations where those big heatsinks on the motherboard interfere with the after CPU heatsink mounting brace provisions.
