Can it be done? I saw some trickery used in getting it done on a PC (YOUTUBE VID) but it didn't work for me on the Mac side. I can't find anything to change font size (make it larger) in the formula bar without impacting the entire worksheet.

I wonder if there's a way to figure it out from this?

For the changes to take effect, restart Excel.

The next time you open Excel, everything will be big. However, if you open an existing Excel workbook that was created and saved in normal size, only the font of the formula bar will change.

Hi BD. I also read that. Unless I'm missing something (always a possibility) that is not the case for the Mac version. In fact, if I change the font size from "General, the section 'When creating new workbooks' > Font size", it changes the font for everything but the formula bar (on the 2016 Mac version). Formula bar text size stays the same no matter what I've done so far.

Sorry, I don't have it, but do we have a .plist or two to look at?

If I had 2016 I'd look, but I'm still stuck with 2011.
