Yes, I know Windoze is evil and Bill Gates is the Devil, but I've noticed on those occasions where short-sighted individuals who know nothing and force me into using Windoze 7, that inserting a partitioned USB flash drive that only one partition shows up.

Since I don't have Admin access, is there any other way to get that second partition to show up so I can read and write it?

What Format & Partitioning scheme is it?

Is Win 7 32 bit or 64 bit?

I wonder if running Linux in a Virtual Machine would work... Linux can read multiple USB stick Partitions.

Is there a networked Mac or Linux machine around?

I formatted the USB flash drive on a 32-bit Mac, so it's either DOS format, or NTFS; I don't remember exactly which one at this point, but it's worked fine no matter which Windoze machine I put it in, except for the mounting both partitions part.

No Mac around at all at the public library where I was trying to use it due to their super fast fiber optic connection, so that's not an option at this point; they don't use Linux, either, and even if they did, I have no admin access and neither do the librarians, so can't run anything virtualized, much less install updates to Firefox or Java.

Sadly, no; at least not when I'm there.

Sadly, as far as I can tell, I think you're out of luck & will need a second USB stick for that 2nd Partition. :(

This is why people need to turn away from the Dark Side.

Just one of the reasons, I can't quite figure out why MS limited Flash drives in this way.

But, the other side is getting a bit gray of late. :upset:
